The government wastes so much money on trying to stop prostitution. Not many people think about how legalizing prostitution can be beneficial to economy. Prostitution is defined as the act of engaging in promiscuous sexual relations especially for money. Prostitution is systematic. There are different figures of prostitution. Some examples are strip shows, brothels, and even pornography. Each of these provides men with infinite sexual access to women with a fee in return. If all of these things are legal, then prostitution should be legalized because the government can gain additional tax revenue and clean up the streets.
Legalizing prostitution would be a great way to help balance out the economy. The government can save billions of dollars. In America, the prostitution industry is an eighteen billion dollar business. All of this money can go towards taxes. If prostitution is legalized, the government would gain almost six billion dollars in federal income tax. There would also be an additional two billion dollars because of licensing fees.
The crime rate will drop significantly. Making prostitution illegal just puts women and girls at a greater risk of violence. The rate of rape will be lowered. The risk of getting diseases will decrease. The women will not be likely to catch and receive Once prostitution is legalized, it will be a safer and cleaner environment for people and the prostitutes. The corner of streets will not be crowded with degrading women in their skimpy clothes. The government will also be able to provide better healthcare for the prostitutes.

reflection:
The proposal is awesome despite the fact I did not do the bibliography part. I hit very good points in the proposal. I did not follow the proposal format because I got lazy. I need more detail in the third paragraph. I also need to watch my verb tense.
